You said, "the issues that the March family faces are insignificant problems for males because the story focuses on domestic problems, which are usually solved by women." But are they insignificant? Are these not the very issues we all face? You also said, "Lastly, a male might find it absurd that all the male characters in this novel are weak and in great need of female affection." But I think it is time for little boys to see this side of humanity. Because whether we like it or not men can be weak too, and we need female affection. That is why this is such an important book! You said, "One message an underprivileged person might receive is that even though you’re poor, you can still spend time with your family and enjoy life to its fullest." This book also shows that we do not need $$$, which is rare! You said, "which is ironic since the Civil War, " about the race issue. I agree..... Usually people trow things in the street just because they are so tired that they cant walk 20 cm because they will die.
